Ebenezer Temple
The Ebenezer Temple is the commencement of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church ministries. It was started on June 21, 1992 by Pastor Kwame in the district of Bè. A big church today, it knew a very humble beginning. It was started during a time of political unrest and religious persecution. The first services were held in Pastor Kwame’s house, on a porch in a church member’s home, on rented properties, until the Lord provided a permanent place for it.
Out of this ministry was launched all the other works. Today, the Ebenezer Temple counts more than 350 adults and over 150 children. Tens of other souls were led to the Lord through the evangelistic efforts of this ministry, several ministers ordained, missionaries sent out, and other ministry workers trained. Many other fundamental Baptist works in and around the capital city have benefitted greatly from the Ebenezer Temple in terms of resources, both human and non-human.
Pastor Kwame has been the senior pastor since its inception. The church is currently under the leadership of Pastor Agbetsiafa Kodjo.
